Jefferson is the curator and host of Spill! A sex educator and writer, Jefferson keeps a pseudonymous blog, One Life, Take Two, that details his life as a parent and pervert. He is a storyteller frequently seen on stages around the East Coast and elsewhere, including The Moth, where he is a StorySlam winner. He is also host of the monthly series Bare! True Stories of Sex, Desire and Romance.

Chelsea Shorte

Chelsea Shorte entered comedy as a way to stave off the boredom of being a beautiful twenty-something. Beginning in 2010, Chelsea has studied and performed improv at several of Washington, DC’s improv theaters, including ComedySportz DC, DC Improv and Washington Improv Theater. Since first taking the stage as a stand up in early 2011, she has flourished in the local comedy scene. She recently opened for Janeane Garofalo at the Arlington Drafthouse and was a participant in the 2013 Women In Comedy Festival. In addition to producing and hosting the monthly, all-female Little Spoons Comedy Showcase, Chelsea frequently hosts and performs at various shows in DC.

Slam Poet

SLAM Poet is a spoken word artist whose emotional delivery and thought provoking style have graced audiences since she first put pen to paper. A regular at Mo Beasley’s New York-based UrbanErotika, she has produced and performed in “The Mystique of Fly” and “Dangerous Women.” She’s also been part of “Voices around the Square” and “Women of Word” spoken word collaborations. She’s been featured at Here Theatre and worked on several collaborations with “Gathering of the Tribes,” “Tongues of Fire” and Artsy Fartsy. She’s been a featured guest on WBAI 99.5 and contributed to several podcasts, and been a guest spoken word teacher at Medgar Evers College. In 2008, she published her first book of poetry, So Black It’s Blue, So Red It’s Sky. Since her move to Washington DC in 2009, she’s performed at venues including Indulj, Lace, Pure Lounge, Urban Eats and Station 9.

Kevin Allison

Kevin Allison is the creator and host of the live storytelling show and podcast RISK!, and a member of the legendary television comedy troupe The State. He has appeared in Reno 911!, The Ten, VH1′s Best Week Ever, Comedy Central’s Viva Variety and Stella and HBO’s Flight of the Conchords. Kevin has written for The Village Voice, Premiere, Film Journal and more. He has written for Blue Man Group and served as the Artistic Director of The Peoples Improv Theater from 2006 to 2008. Kevin recently founded TheStoryStudio.org, a storytelling school in New York that offers workshops for businesses and individuals.

Heidi Galore

Heidi Galore is a former police evidence collection agent in Virginia, and is a current crime analyst for an organization focused on finding missing children. She’s told hilarious and scary stories at several local shows including the Risk! podcast and live show and AKA Variety Pants. During the one four-month stretch in which she was single, Heidi once spread the rumor that she was a slut, which resulted in her first of several near-one-night-stands. Soon after this boost to her ego, Heidi met and married the Chameleon of Burlesque, Bambi Galore, and they moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Heidi now enjoys numerous near-one-night-stands together with her wife.

Kevin Quigley

Kevin Quigley has worked as the producer of Sketchhaus, the premier sketch comedy night at ImprovBoston, since early 2012.  He also directs, acts, and writes for two sketch comedy teams, Duct Tape Revolution and World of Hurt, both of which have had successful runs at both Sketchhaus and at the Comedy Lab at IB.  In addition, Kevin co-produced The Scoop, a limited-run storytelling night, during which he frequently appeared as a performer.  Kevin has also performed standup at 100 First Jokes, and more recently at Andy Ofiesh’s Naked Comedy Night and Bare! True Stories of Sex, Desire and Romance.  He lives in Boston.

Mindy Raf

Mindy Raf is a author, comedian, and musician based in Brooklyn, New York. She has written for CollegeHumor, VH1, TNT, The Daily Comedy Network, and was a contributor to the “My Parents Were Awesome” anthology. She has been invited to perform at the Women in Comedy Festival, SketchFestNYC, NY Funny Songs Fest, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, where she was named a festival highlight performing as feminist folk singer Leibya Rogers. Through the popularity of Leibya Rogers, she fan-funded and produced a full length vinyl comedy album, “LeibyaFair Live.” She recently released her debut Young Adult novel, The Symptoms of My Insanity (Dial/Penguin).

Sean Michael Graham

Sean Michael Graham is a recent DC transplant. Having grown up in the IE (Inland Empire) of Southern California (an area between San Bernardino and Palm Springs), he had a chance to see many great storytellers in LA’s comedy clubs. Most of his childhood and early adolescence were spent acting, directing and in theatre production. In college he continued to pursue his studies but later abandoned them for something that he could actually get paid for. He grew up in a very active LDS (Mormon) family and even served a mission at age nineteeen.

Michael Bryan

Michael Bryan is a writer, actor and director with over twenty-five years experience in the entertainment industry. He is Senior Project Manager for the entertainment division of Time Warner Global, where he works with Turner Sports, CNN, Time Warner Global, Warner Brothers, HBO, Showtime and many other brands. Michael was a child TV actor having acted in over thirty commercials, and he worked for many years in Seattle theater with The Bathhouse Theater Company, Seattle Rep and Alice B. Tolkas. He has worked with Robert DeNiro and producer Art Linson and studied playwriting with Tony-winner Tina Howe; three of his plays have been produced off-Broadway. His screenplay, Black Angel, won the Lake Placid Film Festival and was staged for a reading directed by Campbell Scott. Michael’s solo show had a successful off-Broadway run in 2011. He has written a novel based upon his screenplay Black Angel that will be published summer 2013, as well as his memoir, Creepy Kid, detailing his childhood with a bipolar and schizophrenic mother.

Ray Cordova

Born and raised in New York, Ray Cordova is one of the funniest talents in the city. He can be seen performing all over the city and across the East Coast with Nobody’s Token. In addition to breaking down stereotypes and making waves with his improv troupe, Ray is also taking the sketch world by storm and can be seen all over YouTube. Appearing in commercials with the likes of Zach Wood from The Office, and always looking for his next project, sky’s the limit!

John Flynn has been performing, writing, and directing at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade since 2004. He’s a producer and regular performer of Nights of Our Lives, a monthly storytelling show that has been running for seven years. He hosts an open mic story telling show, Oh Hey Guys, every Thursday at the UCB Theater in the East Village.

Roman Rimer

Roman Rimer is a nomadic storyteller, activist, artist and baker.  Roman has performed across the country and has written and performed three autobiographical shows. His most recent show, Greener Grass, celebrates queer love and connection in St. Louis during the fall of 2011, as an energy workshop, the unpredictable World Series and the newly created Occupy camp collectively create a unique electricity in the air. Roman is openly transgender and speaks at colleges and universities.

Lynsey G is a writer, reviewer, interviewer, columnist and blogger writing
for and about sex, feminism and porn since 2007. The winner of 2013 Feminist Porn Award has one foot in and one foot out of the adult entertainment industry. Formerly a smut scribe for Fox, Juggs, and Tight magazines, she’s also written for xoJane, MadisonBound.com, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and former the editor-in-chief for WHACK! Magazine, she’s now at work blogging at her own website, working on a few books of various types, and whoring it up with the New York City Poetry Brothel.

Amy Jo Goddard

Amy Jo Goddard maintains a private sex and relationship coaching practice and speaks internationally about sexual empowerment, healthy sexuality and relationships. She is co-author of Lesbian Sex Secrets for Men and is a contributing author of All About Sex: A Family Resource Guide on Sex and Sexuality. She has been featured on the Discovery Channel, FOX, and The Maury Povich show, in addition to her many radio and podcast appearances. She is director/producer of the forthcoming documentary, At Your Cervix, and was host of CherryBomb.com’s web stream program “Fresh Advice,” developing, researching, writing and performing over 60 episodes on women’s sexuality. As a performing artist and playwright she has produced many shows in New York City, including the legendary Vulvalution.

Calum Ingram

Calum Ingram is a classically trained cellist singer/songwriter from Paisley, Scotland.
He is now based in New York and has studied at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Calum’s unique style on the cello has a guitar-like quality, showcasing his Celtic, Folk, Jazz and Blues roots. Calum has played, worked and jammed with musicians from all over the world including Alan Nimmo, Jessie Arlen, Johnny Barr, Richie Cannata, Steve Holley, Ray Weston and guitarist Jon Paris. In 2011, he opened for Jack Bruce at the Queens Hall for the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, and played world renowned Melodica Music Festival NY in 2012. He currently plays all over New York City, frequenting venues such as The Bowery Electric, Sidewalk Cafe and The Bitter End.

Sampson McCormick

Sampson McCormick is an award-winning, black, openly gay stand-up comedian, writer and activist. Touring since 2003, he crusades against homophobia, poverty and youth homelessness. Sampson has performed on Broadway, Arena Stage, DAR Constitution Hall, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The 2012 International AIDS Conference, Harvard and Central Michigan University as well as numerous LGBT Pride festivals and events with entertainers such as Patti LaBelle and RuPaul. He is the author of Taboo Village: A Perspective On Being Gay In Black America and Ebonic Faggotry.

Dick and Duane

Dick and Duane (Richie Cohen and Duane Tragis) fell in love as teenagers, exchanging rings from a gumball machine. They decided to follow in the footsteps of other married duos like Burns & Allen, Stiller & Meara and Sonny & Cher, becoming the first husband-and-husband comedy team. Dick and Duane™ got their start as the late-night after-show for the Chippendales dancers and in the Lower East Side’s performance art and alternative comedy world before moving up to headline at comedy clubs and major gay events. Dick and Duane are currently developing their web series, Fun With Dick and Duane, based on the real-life, sitcom-like experiences they share daily with their sizable Facebook audience.

Kris Grey is queer. We’re talking gender and sexuality. As an artist, activist, entertainer and educator, they find creative ways to tell stories with words and images. Kris’s alter ego, Justin Credible, has appeared on stages great and small including the Stoop Storytelling series, the Creative Alliance, and Mobtown Theater in Baltimore as well as having been named the Baltimore City Paper’s best drag king from 2007-09. Grey was a 2012 Fire Island Artist Residency recipient and the resident artist for the 2012 ANTI Festival for Contemporary Art in Kupoio, Finland.

Neil Thornton

Neil Thornton is a comedian and humor writer. A favorite in the New York comedy scene, Neil is the producer of New York’s first all-bear comedy revue, Funny. Furry. Fierce. He also hosts a popular weekly show, Stand-Up @ RockBar and performs regularly all over the northeast, with shows in New York City, Washington D.C., Provincetown, Fire Island and the Poconos.

Jefferson is the curator and host of Spill! A sex educator and writer, Jefferson keeps a pseudonymous blog, One Life, Take Two, that details his life as a parent and pervert. Reggie Melbrough

Reggie Melbrough is a DC comic who has been on the rise since he first took the stage in 2009. The Boise, Idaho native’s unique perception of life is cutting, silly and darn right funny. Reggie is a frequent host at the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse. As one of the co-producers of The Don’t Block the Box Comedy Show and The Looking Glass Comedy Show, he has worked with top comedic talents such as Andy Kindler, Orlando Jones, The Sklar Brothers, Tony Woods, Tommy Johnigan and many more. Reggie was recently featured in the Washington Post as a “comic to watch for” and just taped a TV special for PBS Truth About Money Program.

Leslie Duprey (Slam Poet)

SLAM Poet is a spoken word artist whose emotional delivery and thought provoking style have graced audiences since she first put pen to paper. A regular at Mo Beasley’s New York-based UrbanErotika, she has produced and performed in “The Mystique of Fly” and “Dangerous Women.” She’s also been part of “Voices around the Square” and “Women of Word” spoken word collaborations. She’s been featured at Here Theatre and worked on several collaborations with “Gathering of the Tribes,”  “Tongues of Fire” and Artsy Fartsy. She’s been a featured guest on WBAI 99.5 and contributed to several podcasts, and been a guest spoken word teacher at Medgar Evers College. In 2008, she published her first book of poetry, So Black It’s Blue, So Red It’s Sky. Since her move to Washington DC in 2009, she’s performed at venues including Indulj, Lace, Pure Lounge, Urban Eats and Station 9.

Damian Bellino

Damian Bellino is a comedian, actor, writer and short man. He is the creator and author of the popular blog, My High School Boyfriend Was Gay, and hosts the storytelling show inspired by it at the Upright Citizens Brigade. My High School Boyfriend Was Gay has been featured in Marie Claire, In Touch Weekly, AM New York, among others. You can also see him perform various characters, stories, sketches and bits around New York.

Robin Cloud

Robin Cloud is an African American woman who can ski. She is also a nationally touring comedian and host of her critically acclaimed live comedy show, The Triple Minority Report, which opens dialogue on fun topics such as racism, classism and homophobia oh my! Her festival appearance include the Women in Comedy, Ohio Lesbian, Fresh Fruit, Emerging Artists and Hot! Festivals. Frequently booked to be the Master of Ceremonies, she is proud to have teamed up with fantastic artists and organization such as the Hetrick-Martin Institute, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, NYC Pride, Mr. Murray Hill, Toshi Reagon, Doria Roberts and many more!

Leibya Rogers (Mindy Raf)

Mindy Raf is a writer, comedienne and musician based in Brooklyn. She has written for CollegeHumor, VH1, TNT, The Daily Comedy Network, and was a contributor to the My Parents Were Awesome anthology. She has performed at the Women in Comedy Festival, SketchFestNYC, NY Funny Songs Fest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, where she was named a festival highlight performing as feminist folk singer Leibya Rogers. Through the popularity of Leibya Rogers, she fan-funded and produced a full length vinyl comedy album LeibyaFair Live. Mindy’s first novel The Symptoms of My Insanity (Dial/Penguin) comes out April 2013.

Rod Sayegh

Rod J. Sayegh is a storyteller, improviser and actor in New York City. He has trained at The P.I.T., Magnet Theater, The Story Studio and The New Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. He performs regularly at The P.I.T. When not performing he can be found working a crowd of any type and scoping out the scene. He enjoys long walks in the park and humming Carpenter’s songs in the abyss of his mind.

LeNair Xavier

LeNair Xavier originally gained notoriety as adult entertainer “Tré Xavier.” He officially broke from that persona in early 2011 when at a Men of All Colors/NY event, he debuted his poetry series about the gay porn industry simply titled “The Industry.” He is now making a brand of LeNair Xavier as a writer, blogger, performer and model, by way of magazine interviews done here and abroad, modeling for Next Door Magazine and YouTube videos showcasing his talents in singing, writing, dancing and video production. He is a regular at Mike Geffner’s monthly erotica event Titillating Tongues.

Michael Bryan

Michael Bryan is a writer, actor and director with over twenty-five years experience in the entertainment industry. He is Senior Project Manager for the entertainment division of Time Warner Global, where he works with Turner Sports, CNN, Time Warner Global, Warner Brothers, HBO, Showtime and many other brands. Michael was a child TV actor having acted in over thirty commercials, and he worked for many years in Seattle theater with The Bathhouse Theater Company, Seattle Rep and Alice B. Tolkas. He has worked with Robert DeNiro and producer Art Linson and studied playwriting with Tony-winner Tina Howe; three of his plays have been produced off-Broadway. His screenplay, Black Angel, won the Lake Placid Film Festival and was staged for a reading directed by Campbell Scott. Michael’s solo show had a successful off-Broadway run in 2011. He has written a novel based upon his screenplay Black Angel that will be published summer 2013, as well as his memoir, Creepy Kid, detailing his childhood with a bipolar and schizophrenic mother.

Dandy Darkly

Dandy Darkly (Neil Arthur James) is a storyteller of supernatural sleaze and homosexual horror. Dandy cut his teeth (and chipped a tooth) telling tasteless tales of terror down under Provincetown’s Dick Dock and has hosted such venerated venues as Stonewall Inn’s speakeasy stage, Fire Island’s infamous Meat Rack and the Dixon Place cabaret lounge for his one-dandy show A Case of the Vapors! as part of their annual HOT! Festival. In October 2012, Dandy went national, hosting both the Phantom Cabaret and the prestigious Airship Awards at Steamcon, the national Steampunk Convention in Seattle.

Kelli Dunham

Genderqueer nerdcomic Kelli Dunham is the host and co-founder of New York’s longest-running LGBTQ storytelling event, Queer Memoir. She performs at colleges, coffeehouses and pride events nationwide. Her comedy has been seen on Showtime and the Discovery Channel as well as once—just once—at a livestock auction. She wants to be your friend on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and any other future social networking platform, where her screen name is always (get this cleverness) kellidunham.

J. LaLonde

J. LaLonde has been on the radio since he was sixteen years old. Considered one of the youngest major-market morning show hosts in radio history, he’s set to return to the airwaves in 2013 with the podcast Weirdos, an interview series with the world’s most tragically interesting humans. J. performs at national comedy venues with the likes of Louis C.K., Ralphie May, Carl Labove, Jon Reep, Bert Kreischer, Steve Byrne, Doug Stanhope, Robert Kelly, Whitney Cummings, Jim Breuer and many more. He filmed his first stand-up DVD at The Historic Tennessee Theatre and plans on releasing his debut album in 2013. Having voiced, produced, edited, written and acted in countless TV and radio campaigns, he operates Man Speaks Noise, a voice-over studio in New York and writes for WORD THUG.

Adam Newman

Adam Newman is a Brooklyn-based comedian who has appeared on John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central, was named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch, won Caroline’s Comedy Madness competition, and released his critically acclaimed debut stand-up CD, Not for Horses, on Rooftop Comedy Productions. He hosts the popular BIG LONG SETS at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and Butt Talk, the world’s #1 Number 2 podcast. His new web series, My Dad is in a Boy Band, was recently released on The Warner Sound.
